Led by Professor Wei Yadong, the research team of condensed polymer physics has 7 full-time teachers, including 4 high-level talents of Shenzhen Peacock Program, mainly focusing on the research of the electrical, optical, thermal, magnetic and superconductivity properties of materials and nano devices. The team has a profound theoretical foundation and advanced computing software, and has close cooperation and exchange with many universities and research institutions at home and abroad. And the team has completed or is researching 10 National Natural Science Foundation projects and more than 10 provincial and municipal projects. In the past three years, the team has published more than 50 SCI papers in important international journals. Students have good employment prospects. They can study for a doctor's degree in well-known universities at home and abroad, or work in high-tech enterprises of new materials and optoelectronics in Shenzhen or engage in educational work.
