The research team of thin film physics and application is led by Professor Fan Ping. There are 2 professors, 1 distinguished researcher, 5 associate professors, 5 distinguished associate researchers, 5 assistant professors, and 13 talents of Shenzhen Peacock Program. The research directions include thermoelectric thin films and devices, thin film solar cells, functional thin films and sensors, energy-saving thin films and so on. In the past five years, undertook and completed more than 30 national projects, including 2 national key research and development projects. Published more than 200 papers indexed by SCI on authoritative journals at home and abroad, granted more than 20 domestic and foreign invention patents, and won the second prize of Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Award in 2018. Actively carry out cooperative research with enterprises, and cultivate a number of high-end talents engaged in this profession in scientific research institutes and enterprises.
